Terms

These terms explain the basic rules that apply to the SSOCNote app and website. The current public version reflects a draft built for beta and release preparation, and may be updated as paid features or account-based sync are introduced.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the SSOCNote app, website, and related support pages.

2. Service content

  • PDF import and annotation
  • Lecture recording, transcription, and AI summaries
  • Flashcard and study sheet generation
  • Future account-based sync and paid features

3. Accounts and sign-in

Core features can currently be used without an account. If Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and cloud sync are formally introduced, separate account and deletion policies will be published alongside those features.

4. AI features

AI features help generate transcripts, summaries, flashcards, and study sheets from content the user explicitly selects.

  • We do not guarantee that AI output will always be fully accurate or complete.
  • Users should treat AI output as study support material.
  • Important submissions or formal documents should always be reviewed by the user.

5. Paid features and subscriptions

If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing cycles, restore flows, and subscription management guidance will be published separately.

Even if paid plans are introduced, our baseline principle is that the end of a subscription should not automatically block access to a user’s local study data.

6. Prohibited use

  • Using the service for unlawful purposes
  • Sending excessive automated requests or interfering with system stability
  • Infringing the rights or content of others without permission

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SSOCNote may limit liability for interruptions, inaccurate AI output, device issues, network failures, or user mistakes.

8. Service changes

Product features, pricing, support scope, and policy wording may change as the product moves from beta to release. Material changes may be announced on the website or inside the app.
