Account & Data Deletion

SSOCNote is currently local-first, so users should be able to manage local data directly. If account-based sync is added later, this page can also become the public reference point for account deletion and privacy choices.

1. Local data deletion

In the current version, users can delete local data directly from the in-app settings screen.

  1. Open the app and go to Settings & Privacy
  2. Run Clear AI Text Cache or Clean Temporary Files
  3. Select Delete All Local Data to remove data stored on that device
Deleting all local data cannot be undone. If cloud sync is added later, we will clearly separate local deletion from account deletion.

2. Account deletion

Core features currently work without an account. If Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and cloud sync become formal features, we will update this page with an account deletion process that can be started from both the app and the web.

  • We will clearly explain what data is deleted when an account is removed.
  • Local data, cloud data, and subscription state will be described separately.
  • Expected deletion timelines will be published together with the process.

3. Subscription cancellation and data deletion may be separate

If paid plans are introduced, account deletion and subscription cancellation may be handled as separate processes.

  • Deleting an account may not automatically cancel a subscription.
  • Subscription management will be guided through the App Store or account settings links.
  • Even after subscription changes, access to local data should remain available as a baseline principle.

4. Privacy requests

The following requests can be submitted by email.

  • Data deletion requests
  • Privacy questions
  • Future access or correction requests for account-based data
