How AI Credits work
Free note tools are separated from server AI work, so it stays clear when Credits are used.

Importing, reading, marking up, and organizing materials does not require Credits.

Credits apply to server work such as explanations, transcription, summaries, study sheets, and review cards.

No beta billing
The current build uses test Credits and does not request an Apple payment.
