Local and iCloud data
PDFs, handwriting, notes, recordings, transcripts, review cards, study sheets, generated files, and caches are stored on device by default. If iCloud sync is enabled, Apple CloudKit/iCloud storage supports continuity across Apple devices.
Account and sessions
When Sign in with Apple is used, SSOCNote may store a SSOC user ID, Apple provider identity, optional email/name, session token hashes, sync entitlement, and AI Credits/account overview data.
AI processing scope
When users run AI features such as Document AI, lecture transcription and summaries, study sheets, review cards, or generated files, selected prompts, excerpts, current-page previews, audio, attachments, and sanitized tool results may be sent to OpenAI API or equivalent AI processing services.
Billing and AI Credits
App Store transaction IDs, original transaction IDs, app account tokens, notification IDs, product IDs, credit grants and charges, subscription status, and recent usage may be stored in the backend ledger for billing, refunds, fraud prevention, and support. Token counts and internal provider costs are not shown as user charges.
Retention and deletion
Account deletion removes sessions and linked Apple identity data, then deletes or anonymizes non-retained AI job, AI request, and asset relay data. Billing, credit ledger, App Store transaction, security, and audit records may be retained in minimized form where required.
User rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, and objection requests can be sent to privacy@ssocnote.com. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to contact a privacy supervisory authority.
No tracking or ads
The current runtime does not use advertising identifiers, third-party tracking analytics, precise location, contacts, calendar data, or unrelated device data.
